We are pleased to announce that the Creatio 8.2.1 update package is here! The following key capabilities and improvements have been added to the Creatio product line.

Creatio AI. Creatio 8.2.1 adds new AI Skills and capabilities to streamline everyday tasks and boost productivity, among which:  

New AI Skills.  Several new pre-built AI Skills were released to streamline everyday tasks.

  • Account – Data Enrichment: Enrich account data using internet-sourced information automatically, including email, phone, website, and address.
  • Account and Contact – Recommended Product: Receive AI-driven recommendations for products best suited to your customers.
  • Opportunity – Prepare for a Meeting: Generate tailored talking points to maximize meeting impact.
  • Opportunity – Prepare Meeting Agenda: Create a professional, structured agenda for sales opportunities.
  • Lead – Prepare Personalized Script: Develop unique scripts tailored to specific leads for better engagement.

Debug information in chat. You can now view debug information in the Creatio AI chat for in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of AI interactions.      

Enhanced actions. It is now possible to easily integrate existing business processes and remove any unused actions while editing Creatio AI Skills.

Creatio AI token balance. You can now check the balance of your Creatio AI tokens in the Creatio AI Dashboards section.

AI Skill guidelines. You can now create AI Skills quicker and easier by following tips and best practices directly on the AI Skill page.

Creatio composable apps. Creatio 8.2.1 offers the following improvements to the Email Marketing composable app:  

  • Email Marketing out of the box. The Email Marketing app is now available out of the box in all Creatio products or bundles where Marketing Creatio is included.
  • Autosave in the Email Designer. Email Designer now saves all your changes automatically.  
  • Name updates. The Category field is now called Sending Method. “Bulk Email” lookup value is now called “Manual at Optimal Time.” “Trigger Email” lookup value is now called “Using a Campaign Flow.” These changes only affect new Creatio instances.

WCAG compliance. Creatio 8.2.1 introduces a first wave of major improvements to meet WCAG 2.2 standards, including extensive keyboard controls for components, accessible colors and readability across the system, better support for screen readers, and other accessibility improvements to lists, buttons, menu items, tooltips, etc. (This will be finished in the next 8.2.2 release which wraps up these WCAG investments.)

End user experience. There are numerous UI/UX and performance improvements that streamline and simplify daily work, among which:  

  • UX improvements for the navigation panel. You can now operate the Creatio navigation panel using the keyboard or mouse wheel.
  • Next Best Offer. Next Best Offer is now available out of the box on contact and account pages for new Creatio instances.
  • Browser tab titles. You can now better distinguish among multiple open Freedom UI Creatio tabs as the browser tab titles now match the page content.
  • UX improvements for Hierarchy. The hierarchy now includes virtual scrolling and lazy loading to faster navigate through large datasets.

No-code tools. Improved no-code tools will help you create more sophisticated and powerful apps faster and easier:  

  • Application Hub. You can now view dependencies between applications on the new Dependencies tab of the application properties window.
  • Freedom UI Designer. You can now select multiple items from a dropdown list and display them as a chip list using the new Multiselect lookup component, add an Office 365 or Google calendar to synchronize automatically using the new Add calendar synchronization account button action, and save page data before starting the business process using the Run process button action.
  • Business processes. You can now seamlessly integrate Creatio AI Skills into your business process without writing a single line of code using the new Call Creatio AI business process element.
  • Business rules. You can now debug business rules using messages in the browser console.
  • Integrations. There are multiple improvements, including the support of Identity Service on .NET 8, OAuth state checkup on the Diagnostics tab of the OAuth list page, enhanced error handling for Telegram chat channels, and a more efficient, faster IMAP synchronization policy.  

Advanced customization. There are multiple new capabilities for mobile app users, such as the ability to create custom filters, QR and bar code scanner support, and enhanced GPS for more comprehensive real-time data.  

Administration and performance. The new updates include improved logging performance and page loading time, improved performance of configuration validation Next Steps component, and Progress Bar component, optimized large emails in Classic UI cases, and .NET 6 deprecation (moved to .NET 8).  

Beta testing of new features. These features are available for beta testing in Creatio version 8.2.1 Energy:

  • Creatio AI on mobile. It is now possible to use Creatio AI in the mobile app. You can use your voice to interact with AI, saving time on typing messages.
  • No-code calculations in business rules. It is now possible to set up calculations in Set Value business rule actions using a no-code Formula Designer.
