Regular Update Package for Creatio Products
We are pleased to announce that the Creatio 8.1.3 update package is here! The following key capabilities and improvements have been added to the Creatio product line.
Creatio composable apps. Creatio 8.1.3 offers numerous improvements to Creatio composable apps, such as:
- Order and Contract Management app. You can now access the product catalog directly from the order page. The page includes a hierarchical set of product categories and allows you to add, remove, and edit products in the cart.
- Lead Generation app. Lead Generation app now includes the Web forms and pages section that lets you integrate your landing page with Creatio. You can now also use LinkedIn forms in languages other than English to register leads.
- Productivity app. It is now possible to specify available activity results in the conditional flow of a business process.
Financial Services Creatio. You can now take full advantage of Freedom UI in the Financial Accounts, Cards, Products, and Documents sections.
Service Creatio. To improve the user experience, Creatio now displays more items in the Agent desktop queue out of the box. You can edit the value in the “Maximum number of unprocessed items in queue” system setting.
End user experience. There are numerous UI/UX and performance improvements that streamline and simplify daily work, among which:
- Calendar UX improvements. Calendar now populates the linking field automatically when you create a new calendar record that filters content by page data. For example, if you link a calendar to an account, Creatio automatically links the new activity to the account.
- List settings for specific folder. It is now possible to customize the list for a specific folder and save the settings for all users who can view the folder.
- Inline files in Rich text fields. You can now add various types of files to Rich text fields.
- Lookup selection window in the Message Composer. It is now possible to select email templates by using the standard lookup selection window.
- Metric UX improvements. If you have a metric on a list page that displays the value of a list object and you update the list values, then Creatio updates metric values in real time without the need to refresh the page.
- Release Notes in Creatio, which are now available from the Help menu, and other improvements.
No-code tools. Improved no-code tools will help you create more sophisticated and powerful apps faster and easier:
- Application Hub. You can now deactivate packages. This preserves information about the package’s existence and contents but makes the contents inaccessible. You can reactivate or delete deactivated packages.
- Freedom UI Designer. You can now display an additional description for a value in the lookup, use the new parent page properties, have more customization options for the Metric widget, use the new “Move selected records” button action to move records or specific record columns between two lists, use parameters in the “Open specific page” button action, etc.
- Business processes. You can now run a single instance of a business process by multiple records selected in the list.
- Integrations. There are multiple improvements, including email preservation on Creatio restart, SSO configuration security, error logging for Cisco Finesse and Webitel connectors, and management of just-in-time provisioning for external users.
Advanced customization. You can now use custom code to work with the Freedom UI selection window using the API, including the ability to create custom data selection windows. You can now also use development tools to extend the Message Composer component with custom channels.
Administration. There are numerous new features and improvements, such as the ability to distribute licenses among specific user groups automatically, automated user email deactivation, password recovery for both internal and external users, enhanced page permission check, enhanced security for external users, and various performance improvements.
Beta testing of new features. These features are available for beta testing in Creatio version 8.1.3 Quantum.
- Synchronization of Office 365 calendar. It is now possible to import meetings that have “Creatio sync” category from the Office 365 calendar to Creatio.
- Sidebars. It is now possible to create new sidebars (bars in Notification and Communication panels) in Freedom UI using no-code tools and adapt sidebars from the previous generation using development tools.
Detailed descriptions of all the new features and upgrades are available in the Creatio Academy.
