We are looking for a FP&A Manager to implement and maintain our budgeting/forecasting tool (Workday Adaptive Planning), partner with cost center managers to ensure the budget and forecasts are accurate, provide monthly fluctuation analysis, ensure alignment between financial accounting system, and update forecasts monthly based on strategic shifts and monthly changes to expected results.
Responsibilities:
- Manage long-term planning, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting processes.
- Implement and maintain Workday Adaptive Planning (fka Adaptive Insights).
- Act as a Finance Business Partner with management and cost center managers, by providing presentations of consolidated data with actionable insights and helping formulate strategies to drive improved financial results.
- Perform in-depth reviews and evaluations of monthly actual and forecasted financials to support operational and strategic initiatives, monitoring performance versus plan and prior.
- Laise with business, operations, and controllership where necessary to gather insights on performance.
- Lead initiatives to improve financial processes and systems, enhancing overall efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream departments.
- Approve payment requests ensuring amounts are budgeted for and are within the approved amounts.
- Make thoughtful time management decisions independently. Prioritizes work, resolves issues, meets deadlines, and seeks feedback from your manager. Discerns between urgent and non-urgent issues and acts accordingly to solve them.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience of FP&A experience desired.
- Fluency in written and conversational English.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and FP&A tools and software (Workday Adaptive Planning a plus).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to independently resolve issues and problem solve successfully while working on multiple priorities.
- Ability to balance attention to detail and accuracy with a sense of urgency on critically meaningful work.
